Cambridge Interfaith Programme

Scriptural Reasoning (SR) is a tool for interfaith dialogue whereby people of different faiths come together to read and reflect on their scriptures.

Scriptural Reasoning is not about seeking agreement but rather exploring the texts and their possible interpretations across faith boundaries. The result is often a deeper understanding of others and one’s own religious texts, as well as the development of strong bonds across faith communities.

This workshop is open to those at the University of Cambridge, Cambridge Muslim College, and other friends of Cambridge Interfaith Programme.

A text pack will be provided.

This event is part of UK Inter Faith Week (13-20 November 2022).

The workshop will be held in Seminar Room 7, on the first floor in the Faculty of Divinity. A lift is available. If you require further information about access or have questions about what to expect, please contact the organiser, Dr Giles Waller.
