Early career researchers, postgraduate and undergraduate students from the University of Cambridge have responded to the call to share research linked to the symposium theme: Religion, Conflict, Dialogue.
This event is organised by postgraduate members of the Cambridge Interfaith Research Forum and is open to students, alumni, Forum members and Friends. The multi-faceted programme includes four panels of mixed-mode papers (20-minute and lightning-presentations), an exhibition of new photography on 'Women of Faith' , and an optional yoga session.
Coffee, fruit, pastries, and lunchtime refreshments will be provided for those who register in advance. Weather-permitting, lunch will be an outdoor picnic. The day will conclude with a joint drinks reception.
The drinks reception is followed immediately (at 5pm) by the UK launch of Religicide: confronting the roots of anti-religious violence, featuring co-author Dr Georgette Bennett in conversation with CIP Academic Director, Professor Esra Özyürek. We hope that attendees will join us for that event. Copies of the book will be available to purchase at a discounted rate.
