Cambridge Interfaith Programme

Cambridge Alumni Festival banner 2025

Attending the Cambridge Alumni Festival this September? Our team has plenty of options lined up—

On Friday 26 September we’re offering a rolling programme of workshops. Building on the success of last year’s series, we’ve planned for refreshments and the chance to stay and chat with researchers after each session. Options include:

As a thought-provoking pre-dinner option,* join Professor Julian Allwood (Chair of Engineering and Environment) and Professor Andrew Davison (Regius Professor of Divinity at the University of Oxford) to discuss the potential for faith to be a positive influence in how we respond to the climate crisis: Engineering, theology and climate change: a conversation.

*Dinner not provided! But you can enjoy a glass of elderflower or wine post-talk.

Further into the weekend, you’ll find Alfred Landecker Lecturer Dr Marietta van der Tol on the Festival main stage, discussing democratic backsliding: The global impact of the Far Right.

Not a Cambridge Alum?

Events are often open for non-Alumni guests, so if spaces remain please don’t be shy to sign up.

View the full programme and book on the dedicated Festival website.
